Catherine Colangelo – Paint/Paper Exhibit
Exhibit of paint/paper works by Catherin Colangelo will begin on January 21 through February 21. Colangelo examines the fragmentary nature of her personal identity as an artist, mother, and wife. Not only is her life fragmented into many different bits of time but sometimes her personality is too. She is many different people, serving many masters, and her current work explores this new direction. Colangelo was selected to participate in the 2009 Texas Biennial, was chosen for a solo exhibition at Women and Their Work in 2010 and is the recipient of an Individual Artist Grant Fellowship from the Houston Arts Alliance. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday 10:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. or by appointment. The Art Gallery is closed during the weekends. For information call 281-312-1534.
