This announcement comes from the Kingwood Area Panhellenic Association:
Two area college students were recently awarded scholarships by the Kingwood Area Panhellenic Association.
Brittany Boone and Erin Quick each received an $800 scholarship.
Boone is a sophomore Hospitality Administration major at Stephen F. Austin State University and is a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority.
Quick is a junior Strategic Communication major at Texas Christian University and is a member of Chi Omega sorority.
Both impressed the judges with their high grade point averages and extracurricular activities.
