Mark your calendar if you’ve been waiting for a spot at The Wine Loft at Kings Harbor. The doors will open Saturday, Feb. 20 at 4 p.m., says John Culkin, general manager.

This is the first Houston area Wine Loft to open, and the 20th nationwide, he says.

Look for a mellow vibe with “laid back, house blend music” that is conducive to conversation, Culkin says.

Local bands that prove to be a good fit for the Loft will play occasionally, he says.

And single men, take note: While the wine bar should appeal to any and everyone, most customers at other locations tend to be women.
