The Kingwood Lady Mustangs defeated Barbers Hill in their first-ever game in their new softball complex.
For the past three years, Kingwood has played its home games at Kingwood Park High School.
The team opened the new facility with a two-hour ceremony before the game and a formal ribbon cutting.
