This announcement comes from the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church:
A Lenten service in the style of Taizé will be offered on March 14, at 6:30 p.m. in the chapel of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church. With meditative singing, brief scripture readings, simple prayers, and periods of silence, Taizé helps to quiet the mind, open the heart, and feed the soul. Taizé worship is both meditative and beautiful, employing candlelight and icons to evoke a sense of holy presence that calms our “busy” souls. These services offer a time of quiet and solitude in the presence of God.
