Candlewood Suites has officially opened in Kingwood. The hotel has 77 rooms ranging from a one-room queen-bed suite to large one-bedroom suites all with 32 inch flat screen monitors, DVD players, complete kitchen including cooking utensils, dishes and a recliner chair.
This moderately priced hotel is loaded with complimentary amenities: workout room, business center with computers and fax, wi-fi throughout the hotel, use of DVDs and CDs, and washers and dryers. Many of the rooms are wheelchair accessible.
Meeting rooms are offered at an adjacent office complex; call the hotel for arrangements. Van service to and from the airport and to nearby shopping areas is available upon request. The hotel does not have restaurant facilities, but does have a small convenience store that carries food products for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Candlewood Suites is a member of Priority Club Rewards program that includes Intercontinental, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn hotels.
Room rates vary from as low as $79 per night on weekends to $129 during the week.
