Association Management Inc. - Kingwood will sponsor AMI Boot Camp - Session II outlining homeowners associations’ (HOA) deed restriction enforcement Thursday, May 20, 7 p.m. at Deerwood Country Club, 1717 Forest Garden Drive.
The instructors will be AMI Co-Founder, Chairman & CEO David Regenbaum and real estate attorney Marc Markel, a shareholder with Roberts Markel PC.
AMI Boot Camp-II is free and open to HOA board members living in and around Kingwood, Humble and Atascocita.
“We had a tremendous response to the first AMI Boot Camp earlier this spring and welcome all area HOA board members to attend our second in the series, whether they attended the first one in March or not,” noted Regenbaum. Each session stands on its own, explained Regenbaum, a 43-year veteran of the HOA management industry and nationally renowned authority on HOA management issues.
The purpose of the three-part AMI Boot Camp series is to clarify the role and responsibilities of the HOA board member so that he or she may best represent their personal and community’s interests.
Markel, board-certified by Texas Board of Legal Specialization in both residential and commercial real estate law, is a widely respected expert on community association legal issues. A lecturer at statewide and national conferences, Markel will address local HOA board members on “Being Responsible While Enforcing Restrictions.”
Lite snacks and smoothies will be served. Advance reservations are required and may be made by calling Courtney Maughan, AMI-Kingwood Service Specialist, 281-358-9090, by May 18. Seating is limited.
