College Baseball: Kyle Finnegan, Texas State

Kyle Finnegan pitched four innings, striking out one and allowing no earned runs Thursday in Texas State's 10-4 loss at Northwestern State. Finnegan graduated from Humble Kingwood High School in 2010.

A 2010 graduate of Kingwood High School, Finnegan played baseball for coach Kelly Mead. As a senior, 2009-2010, he garnered first-team all-district honors as he led the team to a 27-7 record and a district crown. Finnegan was also picked to play in the Houston Area Baseball Coaches Association all-star game. A business major at Texas State, he is the son of William and Kelly Finnegan.
