What’s the best Zagat Fast-Food Logot restaurant chain in the United States? While plenty of websites and organizations routinely wade into that particular puddle with various surveys, one of the weightier and most respected restaurant guides has just published its own list of the nation’s fast-food best: Zagat. Kingwood/Lake Houston residents will find some familiar names on the list.

I’m not sure the last time I saw anything selling for 25 or 50 cents at a store, but those are actual prices for some of the sale plants I saw at Lowe’s in Kingwood this week.

Earlier this year, we told you about Nureka’s Taste of New Orleans, which provided takeout food, event catering and personal chef services throughout the Lake Houston area. Now, in addition to those services, Nureka’s has a storefront at 802 First St. in Humble.

Fall Creek residents are ecstatic about a new restaurant that’s opened. Vittorie’s Italian Kitchen & Pizzeria opened last Friday and the place was packed, according to owner Eddie Castellanos, who owns the restaurant with wife Monica.
