Visitors to Summerwood get information, gift-card
Summerwood offers new constructions from a number of builders, like this model home from Westin.
As a wooded community, Summerwood is home to countless trees, plus one new tree that just took root in the Summerwood New Home Information Center.
It’s a gift-card tree filled with cards to local Summerwood businesses such as the H.E.B. Summerwood Market, restaurants and fuel service stations.
Home shoppers who stop by to register at the Information Center are welcome to harvest a gift card from the tree, as well as get details on more than 25 new homes currently available for quick move-in in the community.
Located at the Sam Houston Tollway Northeast and W. Lake Houston Parkway in the Humble Independent School District, Summerwood offers new homes priced from the $150,000s to the $500,000s.
Most of the decorated model homes in Summerwood are located in the community’s Model Home Village, which wraps around the Information Center for convenient, one-stop shopping. Homebuilders showcased in the model home village include J. Patrick, Lennar, M Street, Partners In Building, Perry, Village Builders and Westin. David Weekley Homes also has a Summerwood model home nearby.
“It has been a great year for Summerwood, with the recent opening of the Sam Houston Tollway Northeast providing residents and visitors with stoplight-free access to downtown and other parts of Houston,” said Kayla Webb, marketing director for Newland Communities.
Webb said the improvements to the Sam Houston Tollway and its interchange with U.S. Highway 59 North take commuters directly to Summerwood’s main entrance at the tollway and W. Lake Houston Parkway.
“More homebuyers have discovered Summerwood since the tollway opened, and our new-home sales are up for the year,” Webb said. “To meet demand, our builders have new homes in all price ranges, ready for move-in immediately or by the end of the year.”
A 1,500-acre community, Summerwood has onsite schools, located in the highly regarded Humble Independent School District, including Summerwood Elementary and Woodson Middle School. Summer Creek High School is right across the tollway. Summerwood also has onsite private schools.
