VFW to present golf benefit for MDA

Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 4816 will host a St. Patrick's open golf tournament fundraiser on March 18 at Kingwood Cove Golf Club to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association and VFW programs.

Registration will begin at 10 a.m. and will be followed by a putting contest at 10:30 a.m. A shotgun start begins at noon.

Afterward, dinner will be served and awards will be given at VFW, 24411 Cunningham Drive in Porter.

Kingwood Cove Golf Club is located at 805 Hamblen Road.
