Village Learning & Achievement Center to repeat golf ball drop event

Villager Parents & Guardians will host its 11th annual charity Golf Ball Drop Tournament on Monday, May 9.

Numbered balls will be sold for $20 each, or three for $50 and seven for $100. They will be randomly placed in a large container and dropped from an Atascocita Volunteer Fire Department ladder truck high above a hole on the driving range at Tour 18 Houston.

The raffle winner will be the person holding the number matching the number on the first ball landing in or closest to the designated hole below the drop site. The winner will receive half of the money collected from sales of the raffle tickets.

In case of a tie, 50% of the total ticket sales will be split between the two winners. Village Learning and Achievement Center keeps the other 50% to fund programs and services.

Golf Ball Drop purchase forms must be completed and returned to the Village Learning & Achievement Center, 2225 Stoney Glen Drive, prior to Monday, May 2.

Tour 18 Golf Course is located at 3102 FM 1960 E. in Humble.
