Gonzalez named dean of LSC-North Harris

Melissa Gonzalez, Ph.D. recently was named the dean of the Lone Star College-North Harris Computer Information Technology Division.  

Gonzalez will oversee the school's departments of computer information technology, visual communication and business.

Gonzalez has a bachelor's degree in finance, a master's degree in business administration and a doctorate degree in international business management from the University of Texas-Pan America.

She joins Lone Star College-North Harris from the University of Houston-Clear Lake where she served as an associate professor of management.

"She (Gonzalez) brings an impressive combination of education and experience, along with a clear dedication to student success," said Steve Head, Ph.D., and president of LSC-North Harris.
