HS girls basketball: Kingwood Park defeats New Caney Porter
Kingwood Park defeated New Caney Porter 35-25 in girls high school basketball action on Friday, in a District 18-4A match-up.
The win ups Kingwood Park to 16-9 overall and 9-2 in district play.
Jazmyn Johnson scored 16 points in the victory.
Kingwood Park will next host New Caney on Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 7:30 p.m.
The loss drops New Caney Porter to 8-13 overall and 4-5 in district play.
Kelly Grimmett put up nine points in the loss.
New Caney Porter will next visit Willis on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
