The following arrests were reported by local authorities Jan. 26:
A Kingwood man was arrested and charged with possession of a penalty group 3 controlled substance (less than 28 grams) on Jan. 25, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 26, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Jan. 26 and is facing a misdemeanor charge. He resides on Lakehills Drive.
