Lake Houston YMCA to host series of activity nights

The Lake Houston YMCA will host Special Friends Night Out, a series of activity nights for special needs children ages 7 and older, through the spring.

The Special Friends Night Out events will be held on Saturday, Feb. 11, March 3, April 4 and May 12.

The nights will include games, such as basketball and kickball, as well as dancing, movies, snacks and crafts.

Attendees will have a teen partner throughout the evening to help them with activities.

The cost is $10 for nonmembers, $5 for full service YMCA members, and $2 per sibling.
