Kingwood to participate in Warrant Round Up

Kingwood will be one of more than 260 law enforcement jurisdictions in the state participating in the 2012 Warrant Round-Up starting Feb. 25.

When the warrant period begins, officers and special task forces aim to aggressively target people with outstanding warrants.

According to a press release, Presiding Judge Barbara E. Hartle stated, "This is a great opportunity [for people with outstanding warrants] to discuss [their] case with a judge and a prosecutor and learn about the many options available for case resolution before arrests begin February 25."
