Kingwood restaurant named in trip-and-fall suit
A woman is suing for $200,000 after, she says, she was injured at a Kingwood-area restaurant.
Joy Simpson filed a lawsuit on July 17 in Harris County District Court against Martin Perez, doing business in Kingwood as El Ranchero Mexican Restaurant and Cantina, and others, citing negligence.
Simpson says on July 22, 2010, she was injured as she walked toward the entrance of the restaurant, located at 24551 Loop 4894 in Kingwood. According to the brief, she tripped and fell onto the concrete pavement.
Simpson is seeking actual damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Corpus Christi attorneys Reynaldo Martinez Jr. and Bianca Medina.
