Temple Beth Torah hosts open house
Temple Beth Torah in Humble will host an open house from 3-5:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, to provide information about services, adult education and social programs offered by the synagogue.
The event will also provide an opportunity to talk with the temple's board of directors and religious school staff and register for classes, a media release said.
The event will feature a performance by award-winning musician and singer Rachel Buchman, a native New Yorker who specializes in Jewish holiday music.
"TBT's annual Open House has always been a great way to reconnect with the community and gear up for a wonderful new year," said Rabbi Dan Gordon, the spiritual leader of the temple for the past 14 years, in the release. "Rachel Buchman's spirit and energy are a perfect way to experience how fun it is to be part of the Jewish community."
Food and drinks will be served. The event is free and open to the public.
For more information about the open house or other temple events, call 281-446-5611 or visit temple-beth-torah.org.
Temple Beth Torah is located at 320 Shallow Drive, in Humble.
