Bear Branch Elementary PTA to host One World Challenge

The Bear Branch Elementary PTA is encouraging students to participate in its annual One World Challenge.

According to the school's website, the initiative asks students to create a solution for a current environmental or conservation issue.

Entries will be divided into two categories: primary, which consists of students in kindergarten through second grade, and intermediate, which consists of students in third to fifth grade.

Entries can be submitted in three formats: visual, essay and a public service announcement. Visual entries are open to students in kindergarten through fifth grade, while essays and public service announcements are only open to students in third to fifth grade.

Entry forms and rules of the One World Challenge are available at the Bear Branch Elementary front office. Students must submit their solution, along with a signed and completed entry form, back to the office by Wednesday, Nov. 28.
