Kingwood Park grad Brown helps U.S. Coast Guard Academy victory
Kingwood Park High School graduate Larla Brown played for U.S. Coast Guard Academy in its 76-36 win at home over Mitchell Friday, Nov. 15 at New London, according to the Academy's website.
The Academy junior forward grabbed two two rebounds, got an assist blocked a shot in the win for the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, in its first game of the season.
The Academy also played Saturday, Nov. 17 on the road against Johnson & WalesJohnson & Wales (RI).
Brown, a 5-foot-10 forward, is a 2010 graduate of Kingwood Park High School. She is a Kingwood native.
