Kingwood grad Logan contributes to Southwestern victory
Kingwood High School graduate Valerie Logan scored four points for Southwestern University (Texas) in an 83-69 win at home against Texas Lutheran on Nov. 17 in Georgetown, Texas, according to Southwestern University (Texas)'s website.
In addition to a three-point field goal and a foul shot, the sophomore guard recorded a rebound and two assists for Southwestern, which improved to 83-69 on the season.
Southwestern's next game is at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20 on the road against Mary Hardin-Baylor.
Logan is a 2011 graduate of Kingwood High School, where she was three-time Academic All-District selection. The kinesiology major from Kingwood is the daughter of Ron and Polly Logan.
