Kingwood Park grad Brown helps Coast Guard to victory
Kingwood Park High School graduate Larla Brown scored five points as the U.S. Coast Guard Academy defeated conference opponent Curry 55-53 Monday, Nov. 19 in Milton, according to the Academy's website.
The 5-foot-10 junior forward also recorded six rebounds, one assist, one steal and a block as the Coast Guard improved to 2-1 on the season.
Its next game is 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26 on the road against Framingham St.
Brown is a 2010 graduate of Kingwood Park High School. She is a Kingwood native.
