Kingwood grad Logan scores three in close Southwestern loss
Kingwood High School graduate Valerie Logan contributed three points, but Southwestern University (Texas) lost 84-82 to Mary Hardin-Baylor Monday, Nov. 20 at Mayborn Campus Center in Belton, according to Southwestern's website.
The sophomore guard also recorded two rebounds, seven assists and three steals for the Pirates, who are 2-1 on the season.
Southwestern's next game is at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24 against Schreiner University.
Logan is a 2011 graduate of Kingwood High School, where she was three-time Academic All-District selection. The kinesiology major from Kingwood is the daughter of Ron and Polly Logan.
