Kingwood grad Logan helps in Southwestern victory
Kingwood High School graduate Valerie Logan played for Southwestern University (Texas) in a 56-53 win over Schreiner Saturday, Nov. 24 at Sams Gymnasium at Trinity, according to the Southwestern website.
Loban recorded four rebounds, two assists and a steal for Southwestern, which improved to 3-1 on the season. the team played Sunday, Nov. 25 at Hardin-Simmons.
Logan is a sophomore guard for Southwestern University. She is a 2011 graduate of Kingwood High School, where she was three-time Academic All-District selection.The kinesiology major from Kingwood is the daughter of Ron and Polly Logan.
