Kingwood Park grad Brown plays in US Coast Guard Academy loss
Larla Brown, a graduate of Kingwood Park High School, is on the U.S. Coast Guard Academy women's basketball team.
Kingwood Park High School graduate Larla Brown contributed two points in the U.S. Coast Guard Academy's 74-57 loss to conference opponent Smith College on Thursday, Dec. 6 in Northampton, Mass.
The U.S. Coast Guard Academy junior forward also recorded three rebounds, one assist and a steal for the Bears, who are 4-4 on the season and 2-2 in the NEWMAC, according to the U.S. Coast Guard Academy's website.
The U.S. Coast Guard Academy's next game is at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9 against Connecticut College.
Brown, a 5-foot-10 junior forward for the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, is a 2010 graduate of Kingwood Park High School. She is a Kingwood native.
