Atascocita High School choir students advance after auditions

Eight area candidates and three alternate candidates from Atascocita High School were selected at the Pre-Area Audition for the All-State Choir on Thursday, Nov. 29.

According to the high school, a total of 25 choir members auditioned. Those selected will advance to the Area Audition at Deer Park High School on Saturday, Jan. 12 for the final selections for the All-State Choir.

Those chosen at the Pre-Area Auditions were the following:

Soprano One: Brooke Vance, second chair; Ashton Griffin, third chair

Alto One: Jordan Jenkins, first chair

Alto Two: Kaitlyn Schach, second chair

Tenor Two: Bailey Turner, first chair

Bass One: Hayden Gray, first chair; Keith Philips second chair

Bass Two: Ryan Mills, fourth chair

Alternates are: Jade Panares, Soprano One; Adrianna Martin, Soprano Two; Jamel Rosemond, Bass One
