Kingwood Park grad Brown plays in U.S. Coast Guard Academy loss to Connecticut College
Larla Brown, a graduate of Kingwood Park High School, is a junior forward on the U.S. Coast Guard Academy women's basketball team.
Kingwood Park High School graduate Larla Brown contributed 12 points in the U.S. Coast Guard Academy's 54-43 home loss to Connecticut College on Sunday, Dec. 9 at Merriman Gym in New London, Conn.
The U.S. Coast Guard Academy junior forward also recorded seven rebounds, two assists and three steals for the Bears, who are 4-5 on the season, according to the U.S. Coast Guard Academy's website.
The U.S. Coast Guard Academy's next game is at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 on the road against Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Brown, a 5-foot-10 junior forward for the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, is a 2010 graduate of Kingwood Park High School. She is a Kingwood native.
