Humble native completes basic training at Lackland Air Force Base

Air Force Airman Gloria Diaz-Villanueva graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, it was recently announced.
The Humble native completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills, according to a press release.
Diaz-Villanueva is a 2010 graduate of C.E. King High School and daughter of Erasmo and Natalia Diaz, of Humble.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
