When she's not running, she's likely singing
A: Definitely Coach (Matt) Frost. I’ve had a couple of hard times when I’ve been running, and he’s always just been the one to say you need to keep going because you have so much potential. He’s here for me, and he’s the only one who really pushes me.
Q: Do you plan to run in college?
A: If I keep running, I can get a partial scholarship at Sam Houston. I try out toward the beginning of next year for the team.
Q: Did you accomplish any major goals this year?
A: I beat my 5K record, and I placed first in our school for our district, so that was pretty cool.
Q: What kind of career do you want to pursue?
A: I’m actually going into education to be an elementary school teacher.
Q: Outside of sports, what are your hobbies?
A: I sing like crazy. I’m in both of the choirs at our school.
