Kingwood grad Holderread helps in Texas Lutheran win

Kingwood High School graduate Brendan Holderread scored 10 points to help Texas Lutheran University to a 61-56 home win over conference opponent LeTourneau Saturday, Dec. 15, at Memorial Gymnasium in Seguin, according to Texas Lutheran's website.

The freshman guard also recorded three rebounds, one assist and a steal for the Bulldogs, who improved to 2-6 on the season and 2-3 in the American Southwest Conference.

Texas Lutheran's next game is 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18 at home against Schreiner University.

Holderread is a 2012 graduate of Kingwood High School. Holderread is from Kingwood.
