Kingwood grad Svihovec contributes to University of Northern Colorado victory over Tabor College
Tevin Svihovec, a graduate of Kingwood High School, is a sophomore guard for the University of Northern Colorado men's basketball team.
Kingwood High School graduate Tevin Svihovec contributed six points in the University of Northern Colorado's 90-62 home win against Tabor College on Monday, Dec. 17 at Butler-Hancock in Greeley, Colo.
The University of Northern Colorado sophomore guard also recorded two rebounds and four assists for the Bears, who improved to 2-6 on the season, according to the University of Northern Colorado's website.
The University of Northern Colorado's next game is at 6:05 p.m. Friday, Dec. 21 against North Dakota.
Svihovec is a redshirt sophomore guard for the University of Northern Colorado at Greeley. He is a 2010 graduate of Kingwood High School, where he averaged 17 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals per game. The sport and exercise science major is from Kingwood.
