San Jacinto Girl Scout Troop 9486 performs community service at hospital
Members of San Jacinto Girl Scout Troop 9486 in Humble recently tagged hundreds of donated books as part of their community service at Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital.
Girl Scouts that participated in tagging the books included Emma Garcia, Gigi Daniel, Lanie Green, Heather Turner, Annah Juel and Lindsey Cochran.
"The books are collected by the Memorial Hermann Northeast volunteers for their Book Busters program. Thanks to the Girl Scouts hard work, youngsters who receive a book will know that they were donated by the Memorial Hermann volunteers," according to a hospital press release.
