An Evening with Jimmy Turner scheduled for Jan. 18

An Evening with Jimmy Turner, sponsored by Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, will be held Friday, Jan. 18, 2013.

The event will run from 6-8 p.m. at Mercer Arboretum and Botanic Gardens in Humble.

According to a press release from Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, "Jimmy Turner, a senior director of gardens for the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, will show you how his Garden Does It Big. The evening includes a wine and cheese reception, hors d'oeuvres, presentation and question and answer."

Tickets are $18 for members and $20 for nonmembers. Ticket prices for member couples are $30 and $35 for nonmembers.

Mercer Arboretum and Botanic Gardens are at 22306 Aldine Westfield Road, Humble.
