Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center offers classes
Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center in Humble is offering three classes.
A Flying Wild workshop class will be offered at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5. The cost is $15, and advance registration is required.
According to a press release from Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center, "This companion to Project Wild highlights bird education and conservation though hands-on lessons, activities and stewardship projects. [It] meets TEEAC and CEU requirements."
A free Second Saturday Settlers: Hide Tanning class will be offered at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12.
According to the press release, "Learn how animal skins were turned into usable items as park staff and volunteers bring the Redbud Hill Homestead to life. Open to all ages."
A free Pioneer Campfire class will be offered at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12. Advance registration is required.
According to the press release, "Spend an evening around a warm campfire while listening to Houston Storyteller's Guild members David and Sally Goodroe's captivating stories and songs. Open to all ages."
