Kingwood Garden Club announces yard of the month for December

Jim and Sharon Jackson, who were recently voted owners of the yard of the month for December by the Kingwood Garden Club.

The Kingwood Garden Club recently named Jim and Sharon Jackson as owners of the yard of the month for December.

The Jacksons live at 2002 Forest Manor Drive in Trailwood Village, Kingwood, according to a club release.

The winning yard features pergola, many varieties of bougainvillea, citrus trees, hibiscus and begonias.

Susan Burroughs is the chairman of the garden club's yard of the month committee.

The Kingwood Garden Club was formed in 1973 to stimulate interest in floral design, horticulture and gardening.
