Kingwood Area Quilt Guild to meet Jan. 3

The Kingwood Area Quilt Guild's January meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3 at Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Kingwood.

According to a press release from Kingwood Area Quilt Guild, "meet national quilt artist and teacher Susan Cranshaw for her lecture. Cranshaw is known for her Desert Series of Southwestern applique designs and will bring samples of her work. The group meets first Thursday of the month for a social time and refreshments, followed by programs featuring national artists and teachers, show and tell, lottery blocks and door prizes."

Good Shepherd Episcopal Church is at 2929 Woodland Hills.
