Kingwood grad Svihovec helps in Northern Colorado victory

Kingwood High School graduate Tevin Svihovec scored 19 points to help lead Northern Colorado to a 75-66 win over conference rival North Dakota Friday, Dec. 21 at Sioux Center in Grand Forks, N.D., UNC's website reported.

The Bears' next game is 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29 at Southern Utah.

Svihovec is a redshirt sophomore guard for the University of Northern Colorado at Greeley.He is a 2010 graduate of Kingwood High School, where he averaged 17 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals per game. The sport and exercise science major is from Kingwood.
