Homestead Heritage Day scheduled for Feb. 9

The Homestead Heritage Day event will be held from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9 at Jesse H. Jones Park and Nature Center in Humble.

The Homestead Heritage Day event will be held from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9 at Jesse H. Jones Park and Nature Center in Humble.

According to a press release from Jesse H. Jones Park and Nature Center, "This event showcases the many aspects of Texas history, including American Indian, Anglo settlement, Texas Revolution, Mexican/Spanish heritage, Civil War and cattle drive times."

Tickets are not required and the event is free.

The Jesse H. Jones Park and Nature Center is at 20634 Kenswick Drive.
