Kingwood grad Logan contributes to Southwestern win
Kingwood High School graduate Valerie Logan scored three points in Southwestern University's 85-61 win over Webster Monday, Dec. 31, at Grant Gymnasium in St. Louis, the Southwestern website reported.
Logan also recorded three assists as the Pirates improved to 8-4 on the season. Their next gameĀ is 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4 at home against Colorado College.
Logan is a sophomore guard for Southwestern University of Texas. She is a 2011 graduate of Kingwood High School, where she was three-time Academic All-District selection. The kinesiology major from Kingwood is the daughter of Ron and Polly Logan.
