Kingwood Park grad Johnson plays in Portland loss to Santa Clara
Jazym Johnson, a graduate of Kingwood Park High School, is a freshman guard for the University of Portland women's basketball team.
Kingwood Park High School graduate Jazmyn Johnson played for Portland in a 59-58 loss at home against conference rival Santa Clara on Thursday, Jan. 3 in Portland, Ore., Portland's website reported.
The freshman guard and the Pilots are 5-9 on the season and 0-1 in the West Coast Conference.
Portland's next game is 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 at home against San Diego.
Johnson, a Kingwood native, is a 2012 graduate of Kingwood Park High School in Humble.
