Kingwood grad Svihovec plays in Northern Colorado loss
Kingwood High School graduate Tevin Svihovec scored eight points as Northern Colorado lost 79-54 to conference rival Weber State Thursday, Jan. 3, at Dee Events Center in Ogden, Utah, the UNC website reported.
Svihovec also recorded three rebounds, one assist and a steal for the Bears, who are 3-8 on the season and 1-2 in the Western Athletic Conference.
Northern Colorado's next game is 7:05 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 at Idaho State.
Svihovec is a redshirt sophomore guard for the University of Northern Colorado at Greeley.He is a 2010 graduate of Kingwood High School, where he averaged 17 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals per game. The sport and exercise science major is from Kingwood.
