Kingwood grad Davis plays in Texas Lutheran loss
Kingwood High School graduate George Davis scored 15 points but Texas Lutheran fell short and lost 59-57 to conference rival Louisiana College Thursday, Jan. 3, in Pineville, La., the team's website reported.
Davis also recorded three rebounds, an assist and one steal for the Bulldogs, who are 3-9 on the season and 2-5 in the American Southwest Conference.
Texas Lutheran's next game is 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 at Mississippi College.
Davis is a junior forward for Texas Lutheran University. He is a 2010 graduate of Kingwood High School. Davis is from Kingwood and is the son of George and Maria Davis.
