Kingwood grad Holderread plays in Texas Lutheran loss
Kingwood High School graduate Brendan Holderread scored points, but Texas Lutheran lost 59-57 to conference rival Louisiana College on Jan. 3 in Pineville, La., the team's website reported.
Holderread also recorded six rebounds, five assists and three steals for the Bulldogs, who are 3-9 on the season and 2-5 in the American Southwest Conference.
Texas Lutheran's next game is 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 at Mississippi College.
Holderread is a freshman guard for Texas Lutheran University. He is a 2012 graduate of Kingwood High School. Holderread is from Kingwood.
