Kingwood grad Logan contributes to Southwestern victory
Kingwood High School graduate Valerie Logan scored three points as Southwestern University won 88-58 at home over conference rival Colorado College Friday, Jan. 4, at Georgetown, the Southwestern website reported.
The Southwestern University (Texas) sophomore guard also recorded one rebound, two assists and three steals for the Pirates, who improved to 6-7 on the season and 2-1 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
Southwestern's next game is 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 at home against University of Dallas.
Logan is a 2011 graduate of Kingwood High School, where she was three-time Academic All-District selection. The kinesiology major from Kingwood is the daughter of Ron and Polly Logan.
