Kingwood Park grad Johnson plays in Southwestern loss

Kingwood Park High School graduate Adrian Johnson scored nine points, but his Southwestern University (Texas) lost 57-50 at home to conference rival Colorado College Friday, Jan. 4, in Georgetown, the team's website reported.

Johnson also recorded one rebound and two assists for the Pirates, who are 5-8 on the season and 1-2 in the SCAC.

Johnson is a freshman guard for Southwestern University. He is a 2012 graduate of Kingwood Park High School in Humble. The business major is from Humble and is the son of Arthur and Stephanie Johnson.
