Kingwood grad Svihovec plays in Northern Colorado loss
Kingwood native Tevin Svihovec contributed seven points in Northern Colorado's 86-63 loss to conference rival Idaho State on Saturday, Jan. 5, Northern Colorado's website reported.
The sophomore guard also recorded five rebounds, two assists and one steal for the Bears, who are 3-9 on the season and 1-3 in the Western Athletic Conference.
Northern Colorado's next game is at 7:05 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10 at home against Montana State.
Svihovec, a sport and exercise science major, is a 2010 graduate of Kingwood High School, where he averaged 17 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals per game.
