Kingwood Area Quilt Guild donates books to Humble ISD
The Kingwood Area Quilt Guild recently donated books to the Humble Independent School District.
According to a Kingwood Area Quilt Guild press release, "In December Brenda Howard and Elma Lynn Young delivered 27 books each of "The Patchwork Quilt" and "Stitchin' and Pullin', a Gee's Bend Quilt" to Humble ISD superintendent Guy Sconzo for all the elementary schools in our district. As part of the Guild's educational program, we annually donate books chosen to educate and promote the appreciation of the rich heritage and art of quilting."
