Nine Kingwood runners complete 2012 MetroPCS Dallas Full Marathon
Nine Kingwood athletes completed the 2012 MetroPCS Dallas Full Marathon on Sunday, Dec. 9 in Dallas.
The runners from Kingwood and their finishing times were Pat Bradley, 3:42:42; Robert Webb, 3:57:24; Sandra Van Der Vorm, 4:03:38; Elizabeth Hayward, 4:12:50; Bobbie Glasscock, 4:28:07; Pamela Snapp, 4:35:23; Mike Glasscock, 5:20:10; Suresh Shah, 5:46:28; and Lisa Stults, 6:16:40.
Race organizers said 4,874 runners finished the 26.2-mile race, which began and ended at Downtown Dallas.
Vladimir Safranov, of Russia, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 2:19:38, while Nastassia Padalinskaya, of Belarus, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 2:43:56.
