Kingwood grad Svihovec plays in Northern Colorado loss
Kingwood High School graduate Tevin Svihovec scored seven points, but Northern Colorado lost 69-66 at home to conference rival Montana State-Bozeman Thursday, Jan. 10, at Butler-Hancock in Greeley, Colo., the UNC website reported.
Svihovec also recorded one rebound, two assists and a steal for the Bears, who are 3-9 on the season and 1-3 in the Big Sky.
Svihovec is a redshirt sophomore guard for the University of Northern Colorado at Greeley.He is a 2010 graduate of Kingwood High School, where he averaged 17 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals per game. The sport and exercise science major is from Kingwood.
